Cody Beith vs Corey Braid

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at Portland Monroy, Portland,  taking place on 05/05/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Beith (16 - 16(1) - 3) who hails from Portland, USA and Corey Braid(11 - 7 - 4) from Salem, USA.  Beith weighed in at 245 pounds and 1 ounces, while Braid weighed in at 248 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Theo Wight, and the three ringside judges are Joe Rainey, Gareth Shanklin and William Terrace.  

Round 1: 

Beith gets on the inside.  Braid pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  Braid wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Beith has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused a slight cut above.
