Joel Gallagher vs John Ronald

Boxing Daily Report from the Goldie Bunzworth promoted show at Albany Germontani, Albany,  taking place on 06/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-New York State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Gallagher (13 - 15(1) - 3) who hails from New York City, USA and John Ronald(25 - 11(1) - 4) from New York City, USA.  Both Gallagher and Ronald weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Purcell, and the three ringside judges are James Milner, Mick Cohran and Andy Swavely.  

Round 1: 

Ronald is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Gallagher parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ronald pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Ronald steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ronald dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Ronald sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Ronald throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
