Johnny Sadural vs James Matalon

Boxing Daily Report from the Felix Orcales promoted show at General Trias Pagaoa, General Trias,  taking place on 10/05/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Johnny Sadural (11(8) - 0) who hails from Santa Rosa, Philippines and James Matalon(1 - 2) from Davao City, Philippines.  Both Sadural and Matalon weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Tacud, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Mieras, Urvano Dimaporo and James Gumabon.  

Round 1:

Matalon forces Sadural to retreat onto the ropes.  Sadural lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Matalon advances into close range.  Sadural drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  Sadural clinches his opponent.  Sadural leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

The ref breaks Sadural's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Matalon almost instantly recovers.
