Tevaughn Zvirekwi vs Takeo Kawakami

Boxing Daily Report from the Japanese Boxing Federation promoted show at Sakai City Culture Center Hall, Sakai,  taking place on 18/05/2037:

Clearly Japanese Boxing Federation have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tevaughn Zvirekwi (22(17) - 0) who hails from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and Takeo Kawakami(1 - 5(1)) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Zvirekwi and Kawakami weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jun Nakahara, and the three ringside judges are Yoshi Nakano, Satoru Goda and Aoi Ohno.  

Round 1: 

Zvirekwi feints a left, and then lands a cross.

Zvirekwi clinches his opponent.  Zvirekwi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Zvirekwi is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut.  Zvirekwi clinches his opponent.  Zvirekwi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Zvirekwi about fouling.

Zvirekwi pivots to the right of his opponent.  Zvirekwi hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  Zvirekwi clinches his opponent.  Kawakami leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Zvirekwi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Zvirekwi forces Kawakami to retreat into the red corner.  Zvirekwi lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Zvirekwi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Zvirekwi lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Zvirekwi lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Zvirekwi is looking to close the distance.  Zvirekwi pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kawakami tries to land a left hook, but Zvirekwi sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Zvirekwi lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kawakami almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Kawakami steps to the outside.  Zvirekwi feints a right, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two jab's to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Zvirekwi lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Zvirekwi throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kawakami quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kawakami tries to land a right hook, but Zvirekwi sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.  
Zvirekwi forces Kawakami to back into the ropes.  Zvirekwi is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Zvirekwi pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kawakami's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kawakami's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kawakami's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Zvirekwi walks his opponent into the corner.  Zvirekwi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Kawakami sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Zvirekwi hits home with a left hook.  
Zvirekwi is on target with a left hook.  
Zvirekwi pivots to the right of his opponent.  Kawakami throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Kawakami's body.  
Zvirekwi closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Zvirekwi voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kawakami hits home with a cross.  Kawakami tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a hurtful cross.  KAWAKAMI IS HURT!  Kawakami quickly recovers. 
Zvirekwi closes the distance and connects with a left hook.  
Kawakami pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kawakami throws a left hook, but Zvirekwi clinches his opponent.  Zvirekwi leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kawakami is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand right.  
Zvirekwi lands a left hook to the body followed by two straights to the head.  
Zvirekwi switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Zvirekwi gets on the inside.  Zvirekwi is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Zvirekwi EXPLODES a big left uppercut into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES KAWAKAMI!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Kawakami has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Zvirekwi gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Zvirekwi ties up his opponent.  Zvirekwi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kawakami's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Zvirekwi about fouling.  Kawakami recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
