Leon Webster vs Barry David

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Hale Arena, Kansas City,  taking place on 13/06/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Webster (16(14) - 1) who hails from Tucson, USA and Barry David(15 - 7(3) - 5) from Chicago, USA.  Both Webster and David weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mick Bihl, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Schellhaas, Antwan Dougherty and Kris Hogge.  

Round 1: 

Webster lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
David cuts off the ring, trapping Webster on the ropes.  Webster lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Webster steps away from his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  David recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Webster tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
David is looking to close the distance.  Webster lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Webster clinches his opponent.  David leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Webster pushes his forearm into David's face.  The ref breaks Webster's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Webster steps to the outside.  Webster feints a right, and then lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
David advances into close range.  Webster pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
David is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Webster lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Webster lands a right hook, left hook and a jab to his opponents head.  
Webster digs in a left hook to David's ribs.  Webster ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Webster pushes his forearm into David's face.  The ref breaks Webster's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Webster connects with a firm right uppercut.  
Webster lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Webster steps away from his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Webster lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Webster lands with a ramrod jab.  
David steps inside.  Webster lands a left hook.  
Webster pivots to the right of his opponent.  David throws a right hook, but Webster ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, David pushes his forearm into Webster's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Webster steps away from his opponent and lands a hard jab.  Webster throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Webster's body.  
David tries to land a jab, but Webster sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
David quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Webster finds the target with a solid jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...David's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  David's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  David's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Webster steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Webster sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a cross to the head.  
Webster lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Webster steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Webster feints a left hook, and then lands a stinging overhand left.  
Webster lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Webster tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Webster quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
David attempts to land a cross, but Webster sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.

David is looking to close the distance.  Webster pivots to the left of his opponent.  David throws a right uppercut, but Webster ties up his opponent.  Webster leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Webster tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits David's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  
David manouvers Webster onto the ropes.  Webster is on target with a left hook to David's body.  
David throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Webster tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Webster is on target with a jab.  
David is looking to close the distance.  Webster pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as David dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Webster feints a left, and then hits home with a cross.  
Webster is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Webster is on target with a sharp cross.

Webster is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Webster pushes his forearm into David's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Webster is looking to keep his distance and lands a CRUSHING cross.  DAVID WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Webster senses David is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Webster lands a left uppercut, cross and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  The winner by KO is Webster!
