Boxing Daily Report from the Sowah Promotions promoted show at Naples Tardelli, Naples,  taking place on 23/05/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianmarco Trupia (14(9) - 0) who hails from Milan, Italy and Gianluigi Amoruso(14 - 2 - 3) from Bologna, Italy.  Both Trupia and Amoruso weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicenzo Buonfiglio, and the three ringside judges are Bernardo Noce, Alfredo Trapattoni and Luigi Mauro.  

Round 1: 

Trupia sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Amoruso's liver.  
Amoruso sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Trupia lands a right hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  
Trupia lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Trupia lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Trupia clinches his opponent.  Trupia is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Trupia's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Trupia closes the distance and drives a stinging right hook into Amoruso's body.  Trupia ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Trupia hits home with a firm right hook.  
Trupia lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Trupia holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Trupia pushes his forearm into Amoruso's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Trupia.

Trupia steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND DROPS AMORUSO!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Amoruso recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Trupia gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Amoruso hits home with a left hook.  Amoruso tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Amoruso throws a left hook, but Trupia clinches his opponent.  Trupia uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Amoruso behind the head. 
Trupia walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Trupia digs in a sharp right hook to Amoruso's body.  
Amoruso switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Trupia lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Trupia is looking to close the distance and walks Amoruso down, trapping him in the corner.  Trupia lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Amoruso's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Amoruso's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Amoruso's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
