Rico Valdes vs Manuel Gutierres

Boxing Daily Report from the Ballantyne Promotions promoted show at San Miguelito Malon, San Miguelito,  taking place on 21/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Panama Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NEXtv, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rico Valdes (9(2) - 2(1) - 2) who hails from Panama City, Panama and Manuel Gutierres(17 - 11(1) - 2) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Valdes and Gutierres weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nicandro Gomez, and the three ringside judges are Neron Pasqual, Cris Cayo and Jeraldo Alamillo.

Gutierres advances into close range.  Gutierres quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gutierres attempts to land a right hook, but Valdes parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook to Gutierres's body.  
Valdes switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a jab to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!
