Xavion Cayo vs Reynaldo Chavarria

Boxing Daily Report from the iQ Boxing Global promoted show at Madison Square Garden, New York City,  taking place on 31/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Xavion Cayo (8(5) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Reynaldo Chavarria(25 - 14(8) - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Cayo and Chavarria weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Chiti, and the three ringside judges are Neil Sneddon, Justin Giancola and Oliver Alan.  

Round 1: 

Chavarria advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Cayo hits home with a ramrod jab.  Cayo throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Chavarria gets on the inside.  Cayo connects with a stinging right hook.  Cayo tries to land a right hook, but Chavarria sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Cayo lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Cayo steps away from his opponent.  Chavarria throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Chavarria's body.

Chavarria has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Cayo steps to the outside and throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
