Amer Hossain vs Amjad Salehi

Boxing Daily Report from the Katusha Promotions promoted show at Shah Alam Wee, Shah Alam,  taking place on 29/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Selangor Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amer Hossain (12(2) - 5) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Amjad Salehi(5 - 8(1) - 1) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  Hossain weighed in at 105 pounds, while Salehi weighed in at 104 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Malik Azimi, and the three ringside judges are Sajid Bari, Zafa Othman and Sajid Madani.  

Round 1: 

Hossain advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Hossain is looking to close the distance.  Salehi throws a left hook, but Hossain clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hossain pushes his forearm into Salehi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hossain.  
Hossain digs in a left uppercut to Salehi's body.  
Hossain is on target with a firm left uppercut to Salehi's body.  
Hossain advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hossain connects with a right hook.  
Hossain pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Salehi tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Salehi switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but Hossain slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Hossain lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hossain manages to force Salehi into a neutral corner.  Hossain lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Hossain digs in a firm right uppercut to Salehi's ribcage.  
Hossain advances into close range.  Salehi throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Hossain time to recover.  
Hossain hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Hossain is on target with a firm right hook to his opponents ribs.  Hossain wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Salehi dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Salehi tries to land a jab, but Hossain dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Hossain lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Salehi now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Hossain is looking to close the distance and is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Hossain steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hossain digs in a right hook to Salehi's ribs.  
Hossain walks Salehi down, trapping him in a corner.  Hossain hits home with a left hook.  Hossain holds on to his opponent.  Hossain pushes his forearm into Salehi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hossain.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Salehi's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Salehi's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Salehi steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hossain digs in a left hook to Salehi's body.  
Hossain gets on the inside and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  SALEHI IS HURT!  
Salehi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Hossain knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Hossain lands a right hook to the body followed by two straights to the head, AND SALEHI IS DOWN!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Hossain!
