Joel Cheromei vs Alastair Ojwang

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Nanji, Nairobi,  taking place on 28/05/2037:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joel Cheromei (14 - 11 - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Alastair Ojwang(12 - 6 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Cheromei and Ojwang weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Birdi, and the three ringside judges are Scott Merande, Rashid Salih and Armani Kipchoim.

Ojwang throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
