Cruz Calzadilla vs Juan Arce

Boxing Daily Report from the Kavuta Promotions promoted show at Roman Collado Gym, Juarez,  taking place on 31/05/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Chihuahua Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cruz Calzadilla (4 - 8(1) - 1) who hails from Juarez, Mexico and Juan Arce(11(3) - 3(1)) from Juarez, Mexico.  Calzadilla weighed in at 175 pounds, while Arce weighed in at 174 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dario Escudero, and the three ringside judges are Quiqui Menor, Nasario Hidalgo and Juan Juan.  

Round 1: 

Arce closes the distance and lands a sharp left hook.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Arce.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the right eye.
