Santiago Manlangit vs Diego Tanag

Boxing Daily Report from the Luipa Promotions promoted show at San Jose del Monte Dumapias, San Jose del Monte,  taking place on 31/05/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Manlangit (7(6) - 1) who hails from Dasmarinas, Philippines and Diego Tanag(0 - 3 - 1) from Dasmarinas, Philippines.  Both Manlangit and Tanag weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montego Villalon, and the three ringside judges are Alano Berra, Berto Layumas and Francisco Celeste.  

Round 1: 

Manlangit advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Manlangit walks Tanag down, trapping him on the ropes.  Manlangit lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Manlangit clinches his opponent.  Manlangit leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Tanag throws a right hook, but Manlangit holds on to his opponent.  Manlangit leans on his opponent using all his weight. Manlangit pushes his forearm into Tanag's face.  The referee warns Manlangit and breaks the clinch.  
Manlangit lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Manlangit clinches his opponent.  Manlangit is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Manlangit is on target with a right uppercut to Tanag's ribs.  
Manlangit closes the distance and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Tanag recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Manlangit closes the distance.  Manlangit pivots from in front of his opponent andThe two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tanag dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Tanag.  That has caused swelling  around the right eye.  
Manlangit lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tanag dabs at his face checking for damage.  Tanag recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Manlangit hits home with a solid left hook.  
Manlangit lands a cross, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tanag sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Manlangit lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Manlangit closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but Tanag blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Manlangit pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  TANAG IS HURT!  Tanag quickly recovers. 
Manlangit lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Tanag recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Manlangit pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tanag attempts to land a left hook, but Manlangit slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tanag's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Tanag's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Manlangit forces Tanag to retreat into the blue corner.  Manlangit sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Tanag recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Manlangit connects with a solid cross.  
Manlangit lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Manlangit lands a firm left hook.  Manlangit throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Manlangit advances into close range and connects with a left uppercut.  
Tanag is looking to close the distance.  Manlangit lands a left hook.  
Manlangit hits home with a cross.  
Manlangit closes the distance and connects with a solid left hook.  
Manlangit closes the distance and is on target with a FEARSOME right hook.  TANAG HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Manlangit sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES TANAG!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Manlangit!
