Rob Maddela vs Blake Gapud

Boxing Daily Report from the Omaboe Promotions promoted show at Cuba Laglagaron Gym, Taytay,  taking place on 02/06/2037:

Clearly Omaboe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-Rizal Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Maddela (1 - 3) who hails from Rodriguez, Philippines and Blake Gapud(3 - 6) from Antipolo, Philippines.  Both Maddela and Gapud weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Morin, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Barrera, Nick Caga-anan and Xavier Catig.  

Round 1: 

Maddela connects with a cross.  
Maddela quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gapud hits home with a right uppercut.  
Maddela is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
Gapud gets on the inside and tries to land a right uppercut, but Maddela blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Gapud closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gapud dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Gapud.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
