Diego Merino vs Fanuco Cedillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Kwei Promotions promoted show at Valencia Justiniano, Valencia,  taking place on 03/06/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad Valenciana Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Merino (11(1) - 16(1) - 5) who hails from Alicante, Spain and Fanuco Cedillo(1 - 3) from Alicante, Spain.  Merino weighed in at 175 pounds, while Cedillo weighed in at 174 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Xalvador Vita, and the three ringside judges are Diego Cura, Montel Tercero and Guido Alviar.  

Round 1: 

Cedillo connects with a left hook.  
Cedillo hits home with a cross.  
Cedillo is looking to close the distance.  Cedillo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cedillo is on target with a left hook.  Merino clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Merino pushes his forearm into Cedillo's face.  The referee warns Merino and breaks the clinch.
