Henry Ngelessy vs Bryan Kabuya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Sandton Convention Centre, Johannesburg,  taking place on 04/06/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Southern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Henry Ngelessy (13(7) - 0) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Bryan Kabuya(17 - 13(2) - 2) from Tembisa, South Africa.  Ngelessy weighed in at 241 pounds and 8 ounces, while Kabuya weighed in at 244 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ndumisa Ntuli, and the three ringside judges are Arali Kessels, Max De Jager and Cole Twala.  

Round 1: 

Ngelessy lands a stinging right hook.  Ngelessy ties up his opponent.  Ngelessy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Ngelessy is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ngelessy to stop fouling.  
Ngelessy gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  Ngelessy clinches his opponent.  Ngelessy is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Ngelessy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kabuya throws a right uppercut, but Ngelessy ties up his opponent.  Ngelessy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ngelessy is on target with a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Ngelessy lands a jab, cross and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ngelessy advances into close range and lands a left hook.  Ngelessy clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Ngelessy pushes his forearm into Kabuya's face.  The referee warns Ngelessy and breaks the clinch.  
Ngelessy lands a right uppercut.  
Ngelessy steps inside.  Kabuya throws a right hook, but Ngelessy ties up his opponent.  Ngelessy leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Ngelessy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ngelessy hits home with a solid left uppercut.  Kabuya wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Ngelessy.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Ngelessy lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Ngelessy closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Ngelessy clinches his opponent.  Ngelessy uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kabuya behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ngelessy forces Kabuya to back into the corner.  Ngelessy pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Ngelessy hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  Ngelessy holds on to his opponent.  Ngelessy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ngelessy gets on the inside.  Ngelessy pivots from in front of his opponent.  Ngelessy tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ngelessy hits home with a right hook.  
Ngelessy is on target with a cross.  
Ngelessy feints a jab, tricking Kabuya into launching a left uppercut counter.  Ngelessy is waiting for the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Kabuya steps to the outside.  Ngelessy sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ngelessy gets on the inside and hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Ngelessy lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Ngelessy holds on to his opponent.  Ngelessy leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Ngelessy's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Ngelessy drives a solid right uppercut into Kabuya's ribcage.  Ngelessy holds on to his opponent.  Ngelessy is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kabuya's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Kabuya's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Kabuya's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ngelessy steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Ngelessy ties up his opponent.  Ngelessy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kabuya steps away from his opponent and tries to land a cross, but Ngelessy slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Ngelessy gets on the inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ngelessy lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Ngelessy cuts off the ring, trapping Kabuya in a corner.  Ngelessy digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Ngelessy has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Ngelessy lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Ngelessy attempts to land a left hook, but Kabuya blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Ngelessy closes the distance and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  Ngelessy ties up his opponent.  Ngelessy leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Ngelessy to stop holding.  
Ngelessy connects with a right hook.  
Ngelessy lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Ngelessy lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Ngelessy walks Kabuya down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Ngelessy lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kabuya wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ngelessy dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kabuya could be stopped here, if Ngelessy can find the right shot!  Ngelessy lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Ngelessy lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND KABUYA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Ngelessy!
