Mark Blair vs James Mordecai

Boxing Daily Report from the Badoe Promotions promoted show at Indianapolis Lester, Indianapolis,  taking place on 04/06/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Indiana Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Blair (10 - 18 - 2) who hails from Indianapolis, USA and James Mordecai(5 - 1) from Indianapolis, USA.  Blair weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces, while Mordecai weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isaac Wishart, and the three ringside judges are Callum Lockard, Noel Housler and Sam Skilling.  

Round 1: 

Mordecai gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp left hook.  Mordecai holds on to his opponent.  Mordecai pushes his forearm into Blair's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mordecai lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mordecai lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
As Mordecai tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Blair dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mordecai is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Blair throws a right hook, but Mordecai clinches his opponent.  Mordecai tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Blair behind the head. Blair is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mordecai hits home with a firm cross.  
Mordecai steps inside.  Blair pivots from in front of his opponent.  Blair throws a right hook, but Mordecai ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Mordecai pushes his forearm into Blair's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Blair steps away from his opponent.  Blair sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mordecai lands a solid cross.  
Mordecai lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mordecai lands a jab.  
Mordecai gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Blair throws a left hook, but Mordecai clinches his opponent.  Mordecai is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mordecai to stop fouling.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Blair's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.
