Chris MacGill vs Paul McPherson

Boxing Daily Report from the Adams Promotions promoted show at Omaha Crail, Omaha,  taking place on 04/06/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Nebraska Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris MacGill (15(2) - 9) who hails from Omaha, USA and Paul McPherson(7 - 6 - 1) from Lincoln, USA.  Both MacGill and McPherson weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kris Clingan, and the three ringside judges are Mike Spence, Lucas Doyle and Arran Fyfe.  

Round 1: 

MacGill connects with a right hook.  MacGill throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
MacGill lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
MacGill advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  MacGill ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, MacGill pushes his forearm into McPherson's face.  The ref breaks MacGill's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
