Gonzalo Tomey vs Neron Merida

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 06/06/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gonzalo Tomey (11 - 5 - 2) who hails from Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and Neron Merida(6 - 24(1) - 5) from Matamoros, Mexico.  Tomey weighed in at 125 pounds and 14 ounces, while Merida weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Selestino Berlanga, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Mieras, Alejandro Rebolledo and Agapetus Llorente.
