Paul Friel vs William Monahan

Boxing Daily Report from the Sihumbwa Promotions promoted show at Milwaukee Monaghan, Milwaukee,  taking place on 06/06/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Wisconsin Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Friel (14(7) - 0) who hails from Milwaukee, USA and William Monahan(16 - 16 - 4 - 1(NC)) from Milwaukee, USA.  Friel weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces, while Monahan weighed in at 146 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richard Cavanagh, and the three ringside judges are John McCleary, Sean Picard and Michael Yeamans.  

Round 1:

Friel steps to the outside and lands an overhand right to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand right to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Monahan almost instantly gets his legs back.

Friel switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Friel tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Friel senses Monahan is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Friel SLAMS a spiteful left hook into his opponents face.  MONAHAN IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Monahan now seems to have got his legs back.
