Greg Hoggarth vs Corey Edgar

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Claude Robillard Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 27/06/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Greg Hoggarth (3(2) - 0) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and Corey Edgar(2 - 2(1)) from Montreal, Canada.  Hoggarth weighed in at 108 pounds, while Edgar weighed in at 106 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Girardot, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Marceau, Bruce Hathorne and Granger Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Hoggarth closes the distance.  Edgar throws a right uppercut, but Hoggarth holds on to his opponent.  Hoggarth is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Hoggarth about fouling.  
Hoggarth sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Edgar throws a left hook, but Hoggarth ties up his opponent.  Hoggarth hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hoggarth.  
Hoggarth closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Edgar's body.  Hoggarth clinches his opponent.  Hoggarth leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hoggarth pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Hoggarth walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Hoggarth lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS EDGAR SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Edgar recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hoggarth pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hoggarth drives a solid right uppercut into his opponents body.  Hoggarth holds on to his opponent.  Hoggarth leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Hoggarth's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hoggarth cuts off the ring, trapping Edgar in a corner.  Hoggarth lands two left hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hoggarth is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Hoggarth lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hoggarth lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hoggarth advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Edgar recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hoggarth is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Hoggarth is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Hoggarth walks Edgar down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hoggarth lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hoggarth throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Hoggarth holds on to his opponent.  Hoggarth leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Edgar drives a right uppercut into Hoggarth's ribcage.  
Hoggarth drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Hoggarth is looking to close the distance and is on target with a solid right hook to Edgar's ribcage.  
Edgar throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hoggarth advances into close range and lands a firm left hook.  
Hoggarth sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hoggarth closes the distance.  Hoggarth sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hoggarth throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Hoggarth clinches his opponent.  Hoggarth leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Edgar is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Hoggarth slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Hoggarth lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hoggarth digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hoggarth steps inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hoggarth hits home with a stinging cross.  
Hoggarth lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Hoggarth drives a weighty left hook into his opponents ribs.  EDGAR IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Edgar has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Hoggarth lands a MASSIVE left hook.  EDGAR WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Edgar almost instantly gets his legs back.

Hoggarth lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Hoggarth ties up his opponent.  Hoggarth leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Hoggarth is on target with a telling left hook to Edgar's liver.  DOWN GOES EDGAR!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Hoggarth!
