Darragh Rowan vs Mike McNee

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Belle Vue Stadium, Manchester,  taking place on 10/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darragh Rowan (15(8) - 1) who hails from Bangor, UK and Mike McNee(14 - 10(2) - 5) from Bolton, UK.  Both Rowan and McNee weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Ewings, and the three ringside judges are Thomas MacGregor, Deri Hare and Mark Querry.

McNee steps inside and throws a left hook, but Rowan holds on to his opponent.  Rowan pushes his forearm into McNee's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rowan lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  Rowan holds on to his opponent.  Rowan is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Rowan lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  McNee quickly recovers.

McNee closes the distance.  Rowan digs in a stinging right hook to McNee's ribcage.  
Rowan steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rowan tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Rowan switches the action to the outside and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  McNee recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Rowan is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Rowan lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McNee quickly recovers. 
Rowan is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a cross.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rowan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McNee's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  McNee's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Rowan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a spiteful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCNEE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  McNee almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Rowan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rowan gets on the inside.  Rowan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McNee tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.

Rowan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MCNEE DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Rowan!
