Jose Malimban vs Baltasar Mirando

Boxing Daily Report from the Asian Boxing promoted show at Batangas City Ribucan, Batangas City,  taking place on 14/06/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Malimban (17 - 3) who hails from Lipa, Philippines and Baltasar Mirando(28(1) - 2(1)) from General Santos, Philippines.  Both Malimban and Mirando weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Alinsangan, and the three ringside judges are Rafael Gacungan, Edmundo Eusebio and Denton Hinahon.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mirando has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused nasty swelling  around the right eye.
