Santiago Varon vs Jose Arcos

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Huerta, Guayaquil,  taking place on 28/06/2037:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Varon (33(17) - 10(6) - 1) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Jose Arcos(18 - 13(4) - 4) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Both Varon and Arcos weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ovidio Alarcon, and the three ringside judges are Gig Ascencio, Joaquin Juliana and Juan Hernandez.  

Round 1: 

Varon advances into close range and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  Varon throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
