Brett Egerton vs Robert Vaughn

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 11/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Egerton (6 - 0) who hails from Boston, USA and Robert Vaughn(3 - 2 - 1) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Egerton and Vaughn weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Gwenn, and the three ringside judges are Sam Evans, Mike Stobie and Phil Dawes.  

Round 1: 

Egerton is looking to close the distance and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Vaughn.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Egerton forces Vaughn to back into the ropes.  Egerton lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Egerton closes the distance.  Vaughn pivots from in front of his opponent.  Egerton hits home with a solid left hook.  Egerton ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Egerton pushes his forearm into Vaughn's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Egerton.
