Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 11/07/2037:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Cook (9(3) - 1) who hails from Boston, USA and Ethan Quier(8 - 2) from New York City, USA.  Both Cook and Quier weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Gwenn, and the three ringside judges are Mike Stobie, Sam Evans and Phil Dawes.  

Round 1: 

Cook connects with a solid cross.

Quier switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Cook slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Quier's liver.  
Cook quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging right hook into Quier's ribs.  
Cook closes the distance and drives a left hook into Quier's body.  Cook ties up his opponent.  Cook pushes his forearm into Quier's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cook.  
Cook manouvers Quier into a corner.  Cook lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Cook clinches his opponent.  Cook is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Cook's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cook quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Quier hits home with a left hook.  
Cook drives a left hook into Quier's body.  
Cook lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Cook is looking to close the distance.  Cook sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Quier throws a left hook, but Cook clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cook steps inside and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Cook lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Cook forces Quier to retreat onto the ropes.  Cook lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Cook holds on to his opponent. Quier steps to the outside.  Cook lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Cook lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cook sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Cook manages to force Quier into a neutral corner.  Cook is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cook lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Cook lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND QUIER IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Quier could be stopped here, if Cook can find the right shot!  Cook lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS QUIER!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Quier cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Cook!
