John Quay vs Mick Nist

Boxing Daily Report from the Sijabala Promotions promoted show at Michael Neal Gym, Huntsville,  taking place on 27/10/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Quay (1 - 6(2)) who hails from Huntsville, USA and Mick Nist(15 - 8(1) - 1) from Montgomery, USA.  Both Quay and Nist weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Nist, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Caffrey, Brin Prentis and Louis Garrow.  

Round 1: 

Nist is on target with a cross.  
Nist gets on the inside.  Nist sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Nist closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Quay gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Nist ties up his opponent.  Nist leans on his opponent using all his weight. Nist is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Nist's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Quay dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Nist drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.
