Hiro Noguchi vs Hajime Shiroma

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Aichi promoted show at Ochiai Park Gymnasium, Kasugai,  taking place on 07/08/2039:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiro Noguchi (6(3) - 0) who hails from Hiroshima, Japan and Hajime Shiroma(3 - 1) from Higashiosaka, Japan.  Both Noguchi and Shiroma weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Raiden Oyama, and the three ringside judges are Nao Sugiyama, Kenji Matsushima and Keiichi Kobayashi.  

Round 1: 

Noguchi gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Noguchi holds on to his opponent.  Noguchi leans on his opponent using all his weight. Noguchi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Shiroma behind the head. Noguchi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Noguchi about fouling.  
Noguchi closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Shiroma quickly recovers. 
Noguchi hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Noguchi gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Shiroma's body.  Noguchi holds on to his opponent.  Noguchi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Noguchi is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Noguchi clinches his opponent.  Noguchi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Noguchi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shiroma's kidney. Noguchi uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Shiroma's kidney. Noguchi advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Noguchi is on target with a firm cross.  
Noguchi closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Noguchi digs in a right hook to Shiroma's ribs.  
Noguchi lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Noguchi ties up his opponent.  Noguchi tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shiroma behind the head. Noguchi is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shiroma throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Noguchi walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Shiroma tries to land a left hook, but Noguchi blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Noguchi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shiroma's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Shiroma's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

As Noguchi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shiroma dabs at his face checking for damage.

Noguchi steps inside and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Shiroma attempts to land a jab, but Noguchi parries the shot and counters with a solid right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Shiroma throws a left hook, but Noguchi clinches his opponent.  Noguchi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Noguchi uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Shiroma behind the head. Noguchi throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Noguchi closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS SHIROMA!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Shiroma can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Noguchi!
