Carlos Parente vs Rafael Batista

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Bahia promoted show at Loredo Nery Gym, Salvador,  taking place on 23/10/2021:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Esporte Interativo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Parente (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Salvador, Brazil and Rafael Batista(6(1) - 1) from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  Parente weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces, while Batista weighed in at 117 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jair Serafin, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Pimentel, Juan Lago and Jair Serafin.
