Vere Lafon vs Trystan Bazile

Boxing Daily Report from the Mini Promotions promoted show at Port-au-Prince Amiot, Port-au-Prince,  taking place on 21/08/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Haiti Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vere Lafon (9 - 3 - 1) who hails from Port-au-Prince, Haiti and Trystan Bazile(6 - 1) from Port-au-Prince, Haiti.  Both Lafon and Bazile weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Franchot Castile, and the three ringside judges are Germain Baudhuin, Boden Andreu and Boyce Courtellemont.  

Round 1: 

Lafon switches the action to the outside.  Bazile hits the target with a hard jab.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bazile dabs at his face checking for damage.  Bazile has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
