Dave McCaa vs David Connell

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Utah promoted show at Richie Akins Gym, Salt Lake City,  taking place on 18/10/2023:

Clearly AI USA-Utah have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave McCaa (8 - 0 - 1) who hails from Salt Lake City, USA and David Connell(10 - 0) from Provo, USA.  Both McCaa and Connell weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arran Doyle, and the three ringside judges are Lucas Magorian, Jordan Burke and Lucas Magorian.  

Round 1: 

McCaa pivots to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
McCaa is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a cross.  
Connell throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.
