Zack Ankomah vs Oringo Assiful

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Adjei, Kumasi,  taking place on 18/02/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Ashanti Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zack Ankomah (10 - 2 - 3) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Oringo Assiful(7 - 4 - 4) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Ankomah weighed in at 139 pounds and 7 ounces, while Assiful weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bob Antwi, and the three ringside judges are Rob Adjei, Kabonesa Dumashie and Ibrahim Siddiqi.  

Round 1: 

Ankomah switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Assiful slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
