Eti Koni vs Mark Perepe

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 28/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eti Koni (7 - 4 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Mark Perepe(8 - 7) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Koni weighed in at 112 pounds, while Perepe weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Laramore, and the three ringside judges are David Neild, Dave Pera and Ruki Kohu.
