Ryo Yamanaka vs Quon Kuang

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Tokyo International Forum, Tokyo,  taking place on 27/06/2025:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the East Asian Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ryo Yamanaka (10 - 5(1)) who hails from Toyohashi, Japan and Quon Kuang(16 - 1 - 1) from Tianjin, China.  Both Yamanaka and Kuang weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nori Saito, and the three ringside judges are Hisao Yamane, Takeo Kibe and Ichiro Koizumi.  

Round 1: 

Kuang sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Yamanaka hits home with a solid right uppercut.
