Best terms I am ever offered by a boxer is a three-year deal.  I have come to assume that's the longest contract one can get.

Yet today's game date is 16 Feb 2029.  I've had my eye on a boxer under a dormant promoter, and suddenly his contract is good through 10 March 3032.

Was I wrong about the three-year limit?

Additionally, this boxer signed as a pro on 1 Jan 2019.  Age 12.  Must have really sparkled in his tryouts.

There was an error with the pro sign date for start up fighters which then got released.

regarding renewals, when you renew a contract, it adds the number of years to the current contract end date.  So if the fighters end date was 10 March 2029 then it would have gone to 2032. (i'm hoping 3032 is a typo as it certainly shouldn't be offering a 1003 year contract).

AI controlled fighters get renewed when they are in the last 3 months of their contract (if the promoter decides to keep them)
