Something wrong with Ticket Sales?

I just have to post it again, sorry for bothering, but in the past, it was no problem selling out shows going down to 1,2,3 € for the seatrs, and it would sell the rest of the tickets, now it continouisly stays a few hundred or even less tickets short of selling out:
e.g.:
https://www.eboxingpromoter.com/ShowDetail.aspx?ShowID=386153
https://www.eboxingpromoter.com/ShowDetail.aspx?ShowID=378716

Could you look, if aything has changed with ticket pricing and calculation?

Do you mean the past as in this version of the game?
I'll check through how the logic works soon.

Unfortunately my day job is actually taking all day at the moment

i've checked the first show and there is an error but not what you think.
Somehow more cheapseats have been sold than the allowed capacity.

So the split should be 62% cheapseats, 30% midprice and 8% ringside.

So the program is basically calculating its already sold too much and won't sell any more.

this will be an awkward error to work out, so no guarantees it will be fixed quickly

Well, thanks for explaining, crazy, that it sells more tickets of one type, than elegible.

I noticed this just for the last 2 weeks or so, never had this before.

found the issue and should be fixed going forward, but let me know if it happens on any future shows

Looks like this show was also hit:
https://www.eboxingpromoter.com/ShowDetail.aspx?ShowID=405035

It was scheduled before the correction, but had only about 10.000 or so tickets sold, when you corrected.

i'm not sure about that.
if you look at the "potential revenue" option in the drop down you can see its sold 6 more mid price tickets and 15 more cheapseats than the capacity allows.

so either the fix hasn't worked or it had already reached these numbers by the time it went in.

lets check future shows scheduled to see if it still happens

How do the ticket sales work exactly Rooq? Sometimes I will sell loads fast then it just doesnt move unless I put the price down, is this what should happen or should they gradually sell at the same price ovetime?

They sell at the same rate over time, but high class fights sell quicker, or while you have a marketing campaign on. At the point the fight is made the default number of tickets sales is known, but then this is adjusted depending on ticket prices and the overall quality of the show.

So in the example you gave, you probably sold as many as expected early, but then just shifted more because you started selling them cheap so got a bonus that way.

I am still not sure, if ticket sale work as intended:

Look at this shows:
https://www.eboxingpromoter.com/ShowDetail.aspx?ShowID=408758
https://www.eboxingpromoter.com/ShowDetail.aspx?ShowID=417148
https://www.eboxingpromoter.com/ShowDetail.aspx?ShowID=403296

Mi9dssize and Cheap sold, Ringside remains, not sure, if they ll sell (I dropped prices extreme), it seems , that ringside whatever price calculation you do, takes longest to sell, and might not sell even for low price.

Seems to be working to the original design tbh.
ringside tickets do sell slower than the other price tickets.  They basically sell at 1/20th of the expected number of tickets the fight will sell, which means if all goes to plan, most fights will sell all the tickets they should sell in around 3 weeks.  However, this is modified by any marketing, how stacked the card is etc

Once a fight has sold as many tickets as expected, then it stops getting ticket sales, no matter what you reduce the price to...this is a design flaw as someone who had no intention of buying a ticket for 100rq may definitely consider grabbing a ringside seat for 12rq.

I'll see if I can amend this, but don't want to do anything too drastic which results in wider impact.

I still think its not working ok, and it seems, once there are only ringside tickets left, it stalls, not sure if it has to do with intense Marketing or something,
But look at the show in Empire City Casino:
https://www.eboxingpromoter.com/ShowDetail.aspx?ShowID=406477

This is a World Title fight in a smal arena, I hardly upped prices, in a Stadium this fight alone would sell 10.000 + Tickets,
but here the last Ringside tickets get stuck.

Why I am so nerving is because a 90% sold Show only gives 1/4 of the points compared to a sold out show.

I just found that same issue I thought I fixed a couple of weeks ago is present in a few other places.  I have just put in a fix for that on game day 06/11/2027.  Lets see what happens with shows created after this date to see if it sorts out that ringside seat problem
